The BKKS national koi show, after cancelled last year and postponed one month and half this year due to COVID-19, was at last held on August 13 and 14th. Blessed with good, warm weather, there was a good turnout. Please watch and find out which koi won the prizes!

The koi ponds in Nishikigoi no Sato in Ojiya, Japan. Nishikigoi-no-Sato (koi village) is part museum and part Japanese garden. The koi in the ponds are owned by members of the public.

Do you know what nishikigoi are? They are Japanese, brightly coloured carp, often seen in traditional Japanese gardens. Keeping koi carp is an increasingly popular hobby.
